Her present goal is to not only compete in the 2016 RIO Olympic games in BMX but to win gold.
Caroline originally started racing BMX at the age of 5, it all started when she followed her older brother into the sport after they had driven past the local BMX track one day. She was also doing Teakwondo at that stage up until the age of 8 when she went to Paris for the BMX World Championships and it was then that she had to focus on fewer sports and gave up Teakwondo. At the age of 15 all she wanted to do was ride a bike, she rode at the skate park alot, went dirt jumping as well as racing BMX.
How she got into mountain biking is a funny story, it was purely by accident almost. A mate of Caroline's made a deal that if he came to a bmx race then she would have to race a 4x race. At her 1st 4x race she was winning and Katrina Miller and her took each other out but she had so much fun and loved the atmosphere that was at mountain bike races, that she decided she was going to take up 4x.
It was only a year later when Caroline was 16 that she decided to give Downhill a go, this was definitely not as easy as crossing over from BMX to 4x. She had lots more skills to learn and many trees to dodge.
To this day she enjoys doing 2 disciplines BMX, 4x and just loves riding her bikes.
