Perisher Blue ski area
Enjoy the short walk or take the courtesy bus on our private road that directly links Lake Crackenback Resort to the Skitube Alpine Railway at Bullocks terminal.

The Skitube ride from Bullocks to Perisher Blue’s slopes takes only 10 minutes. That means you don’t need to worry about driving in the snow, dealing with traffic, fitting snow chains or driving home after a full days skiing. It does mean you can an enjoy an après ski refreshment!

Our friends at Perisher Blue have also supplied exclusive ski and clothing lockers at the Perisher Skitube terminal for Lake Crackenback guests – which means you don’t even have to carry your skis or boots with you on the Skitube (there are a limited number of lockers).

Thredbo ski area
The drive from Lake Crackenback Resort to Thredbo is a 10 to 15 minute drive – this is half the time it takes to drive from Jindabyne.

The road is situated below the snow line which means the likely hood of encountering snow on the road is significantly reduced.

If you’d rather not drive yourself to Thredbo Lake Crackenback Resort offer a door to door shuttle service to Thredbo.

Summer Season
Enjoy a range of outdoor adventures, from guided walks to fly fishing, against the backdrop of the region’s stunning mountains, lakes and rivers.

Lake Crackenback Resort is an easy 15 minute drive from either Thredbo village or Jindabyne town which means a day out of the resort with the family is a pleasant and easy excursion.
