Last Saturday the 21st January, Lake Crackenback Resort hosted the Fly Rod Shootout with fly fishing identity Peter Morse. Organised by the Evolve Your Fishing team, the event saw 25 keen fly fishermen from all over Australia descend on Lake Crackenback's Village Green to learn the art of fly casting and tying. The day was an overwhelming success, with all taking away some useful information and techniques. We will look at running similar events in the future.
