

All treks are chosen to ensure an enjoyable and memorable experience, including discovering landmark sights, treading lightly through wilderness alpine terrain and unveiling the true essence of the Kosciuszko National Park.
Treks are not rushed. There’s time to take a break to enjoy the scenery, learn more about the Park or just take in the magnitude of this pristine and unique environment. There is also an opportunity for those with lots of energy to take advantage of a selection of side-trips.
Why not try our Double Pleasure Package: Two single day treks & two recovery nights at Lake Crackenback Resort. The Double Pleasure Package includes the picturesque Blue Lake Walk on day one and summiting Mount Kosciuszko on day two including two recovery nights at the 4 1/2 star Lake Crackenback Resort.
Ride the chairlift from Thredbo Village (1365 metres) to Eagles Nest (1945 metres), follow a grated path that crosses the headwaters of the Snowy River.
Starting near Australia's highest village, Charlotte Pass, cross the Snowy River and trek on to experience the power and beauty of the ancient Blue Lake.
Day Treks - $95.00 per person. Minimum numbers apply, weather dependant. If weather conditions are not suitable for scheduled treks an alternative trek/activity will be arranged.
*Day treks can be schedules on alternate days however minimum numbers will apply, on demand only.
For those who love a challenge or have a specific walk or date in mind, Kosciuszko Alpine Guided Walks can come up with a package to suit most requests, just speak with our friendly Activities Manager to arrange.

All treks are maximum 6 - 10 clients to one guide (depending on what type of trek). Minimum numbers apply. Please note that food is not supplied on day treks, however prepacked lunches can be purchased from Lake Crackenback Resort.
The Kosciuszko Alpine Guided Walks program is modelled on supplying clients with quality, well serviced, bushwalking equipment. The only equipment recommended on a guided day trip are personal bushwalking items as shown below and any unsupplied items will be available for purchase at the Activities Centre:
Lunches for Day Walks can be purchased from resort’s onsite restaurant. Lunches need to be ordered the afternoon prior to trek departure from reception. They will be available for pickup from the restaurant after 7:30am on the morning of the trek.
