Celebrity Movember Sportsman's Dinner

Friday 29th of November 2013 at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa will see many mustachioed men, and their supporting ladies, enjoying the annual Celebrity Movember Sportsman’s Dinner as a culmination of the Resort’s month-long support for Movember.

Join our fantastic lineup of sports stars:

	Nick Farr Jones is a former Australian rugby union footballer. His position was scrum-half. He is probably best remembered for winning the 1991 Rugby World Cup with his team against England.

	Ben Ikin is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer and former commentator for the Nine Network.An Australian international and Queensland State of Origin representative centre turned five-eighth, he played his club football for the Gold Coast Chargers, North Sydney Bears and Brisbane Broncos, with whom he won the 2000 premiership.

	Greg Matthews is a former New South Wales and Australian cricket all rounder (off spin bowler and left handed batsman) who is now a television cricket commentator.

	Andy Blair is a cross country mountain biker for the Swell-Specialized team. He has been racing bikes for nearly 20 years and has been a member of multiple national teams in XCO and XCM. He is also a a skier and an engineer.

	Jared Tallent is an Australian race walker. Tallent finished third in the 20 km walk at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing to claim his first Olympic medal. At the 2012 London Olympics, Tallent finished 7th in the 20 km walk. A week later he won his second consecutive silver medal in the 50 km walk in a personal best time of 3:36:53.

The delicious three course meal will be graced by celebrity sports stars and proceeds will go to the Movember charity to raise awareness for men’s health including depression and prostate cancer.

Tickets to the event hosted at Cuisine on Lake Crackenback Restaurant & Bar at the Resort are $75 per person with $5 from each booking being donated to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health. It promises to be a great celebration for all those who have cultivated their mo’s throughout November and all their other-halves who have had to put up with them! Seats are limited!
