During the Spring and Summer months, the Resort operates a shuttle bus transporting you up to Thredbo to enjoy the ride down the Thredbo Valley Track.

This is a tailored private lesson to help develop and improve your MTB skills. Regardless of what level of rider you are, our clinics can help you tackle the mountains trails with greater confidence.

CLINIC DETAILS

Trail conditions – this clinic can be tailored to suit first timers and beginners through to high intermediate level mountain bike riders. The skills clinic is all based on single track mountain bike trails at LCR and are narrow with gravel, rocks, bermed corners and other obstacles along the way.

Timings – clinics must be booked a minimum 24hrs in advance. Clinics generally depart from Activate at 10.00am on the day of tour booking, returning approximately 12.00pm.

Cost

  • private lesson – $125
  • 2 – 4 people – $85 per person
  • 5+ people – $70 per person

Availability – this clinic can be booked upon request and is subject to availability. Not available from mid-May through to October long weekend.

This tour is an intermediate or high level beginner MTB ride taking in one of the Snowy Mountains most iconic trails.

This family friendly tour takes in the local environment including fauna and flora, bush tucker and historical interpretation.

TOUR DETAILS

Trail conditions – this tour is aimed at intermediate to high level beginner single track riders. The tour involves a mix of green and blue sections of single track mountain bike trails that are narrow with gravel, rocks, bermed corners and other obstacles along the way.

Timings – Tours must be booked a minimum 24hrs in advance. Tours will depart from Activate at 9.00am or 9.30am depending on the day of tour booking, returning approximately 12.30pm.

Cost – 

  • Private tour – $145
  • 2 – 4 people – $105 per person
  • 5+ people – $90 per person

Availability – Tours are provided upon request, subject to availability. Not available from mid-May through to October long weekend. This tour is also subject to NPWS trail closures at certain times.

Experience an intimate mountain bike tour with access to remote wilderness areas, the historic cattlemen’s hut, Cascade Hut plus you may even spot a brumby or two. This is a difficult level e-bike ride taking competent riders deep into UNESCO world heritage wilderness to explore and learn some of the multi layered history of the area.

Trail conditions – this tour is aimed at high intermediate to advanced level trail riders. While this tour is ridden on fire trails, it is either steep up or steep down with not much in between. A great ride for those up to the challenge and looking to explore some more remote parts of Kosciuszko National Park.

Timings – Tours must be booked a minimum 24hrs in advance. This is a half day tour and generally departs from Activate at 9.00am or 9.30am depending on the day of tour booking, returning approximately 1.00pm.

Cost –

  • 2 – 4 people – $280 per person
  • 5 – 6 people – $240 per person

Availability – Tours are provided upon request, subject to availability. Available from mid-November through to April.

  • This is a high altitude tour, the wind can be cold so dress warm

What to bring – 

  • Phone / camera
  • Money for a coffee stop if you would like to
  • Bring a small day pack to carry snacks and other items

Experience a high altitude ride up to Rawson’s Pass (2120m) then walk to the summit of Australia’s highest peak, Mt Kosciuszko (2228m) to enjoy the magnificent sun set over the range with a cheese plate and celebratory schnapps.

TOUR DETAILS

Trail conditions –
This tour is aimed at beginner to intermediate level trail riders. While this tour is ridden on fire trails, it does involve riding some loose sections of granite in dark conditions with only a bike headlight for illumination.

Timings – tours must be booked a minimum 24hrs in advance. This is a late evening tour and generally departs from Activate at 3.00 – 4.30pm depending on the time of year, returning approximately 9.30pm – 10.30pm.

Cost – 

  • 2 – 4 people – $295 per person
  • 5 – 8 people – $195 per person

Availability – Tours are provided upon request subject to availability. Not available from May through to mid-November.

  • This is a high altitude tour to the highest point in Australia, it is often cold and windy, especially once the sun goes down so dress warm

  • A warm jumper
  • A rain jacket (regardless of the forecast)
  • Bring a small day pack to carry your items

Experience a scenic mountain bike tour to visit remote areas within the Kosciuszko National Park. Along the ride you will visit 3 historical Huts to get a glimpse of how life can be lived in the mountains. A great day out with amazing sights history and a riding experience to remember.

TOUR DETAILS

Trail conditions – this tour is aimed at intermediate level trail riders. While this tour is ridden on fire trails, it involves some steep climbs and descents as well as the occasional river crossing. A great ride for those looking for a bit of adventure and to explore some more remote parts of Kosciuszko National Park.

Timings – tours must be booked a minimum 24hrs in advance. This is a full day tour and consists of about 5 hrs of saddle time. The tour generally departs from Activate at 8.30pm depending on the day of tour booking, returning approximately 4.00pm.

Cost –

  • 2 – 4 people – $345 per person
  • 5 – 8 people – $285 per person
