This is a tailored private lesson to help develop and improve your MTB skills. Regardless of what level of rider you are, our clinics can help you tackle the mountains trails with greater confidence.

CLINIC DETAILS

Trail conditions – this clinic can be tailored to suit first timers and beginners through to high intermediate level mountain bike riders. The skills clinic is all based on single track mountain bike trails at LCR and are narrow with gravel, rocks, bermed corners and other obstacles along the way.

Timings – clinics must be booked a minimum 24hrs in advance. Clinics generally depart from Activate at 10.00am on the day of tour booking, returning approximately 12.00pm.

Cost

  • private lesson – $145
  • 2 – 4 people – $90 per person
  • 5+ people – $75 per person

Availability – this clinic can be booked upon request and is subject to availability. Not available from mid-May through to October long weekend.

Inclusions – Qualified MTB Instructor

Restrictions

  • Clinic prices do NOT include bike hire as many people BYO bike.
  • Riders must be under 120kg
  • All participants must be 10 years or over
  • Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult
  • Min group size 1pax, max group size 10ppl

What to wear – 

  • Dress appropriately for the weather
  • All participants must wear enclosed and flat soled footwear

What to bring – 

  • Water bottle
  • Mountain bike in good working order (or hire from Activate if preferred)

This interpretive e-bike guided experience is a great day adventure for the intermediate rider or high level MTB rider. Taking you deep into a remote region of the Kosciuszko National Park, you will experience a real presence of place with pristine wilderness forests that are rarely visited along with glimpses of the nearby river.

TOUR DETAILS

Trail conditions – this tour is aimed at intermediate rider or high level MTB riders. The tour involves a mix of green and blue sections of single track mountain bike trails that are narrow with gravel, rocks, bermed corners and other obstacles along the way.

Timings – Tours must be booked a minimum 24hrs in advance. Tours will depart from Activate at 9.00am or 9.30am depending on the day of tour booking, returning approximately 12.30pm.

Cost – 

  • 2 – 4 people – $360 per person
  • 5+ people – $300 per person

Availability – Tours are provided upon request, subject to availability. Not available from mid-May through to October long weekend. This tour is also subject to NPWS trail closures at certain times.

• All participants must be able to ride a bike standing in the pedals and be comfortable riding single track. This is not an MTB skill lesson.
• All participants must be 16 years or over
• Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult
• Minimum group size 1pax, maximum group size 8 people

• All participants must wear enclosed and flat soled footwear

  • You may want to bring a small day pack or water bladder to carry any items

Experience an intimate mountain bike tour with access to remote wilderness areas, the historic cattlemen’s hut, Cascade Hut plus you may even spot a brumby or two. This is a difficult level e-bike ride taking competent riders deep into UNESCO world heritage wilderness to explore and learn some of the multi layered history of the area.

TOUR DETAILS

Trail conditions – this tour is aimed at high intermediate to advanced level trail riders. While this tour is ridden on fire trails, it is either steep up or steep down with not much in between. A great ride for those up to the challenge and looking to explore some more remote parts of Kosciuszko National Park.

Timings – Tours must be booked a minimum 24hrs in advance. This is a half day tour and generally departs from Activate at 9.00am or 9.30am depending on the day of tour booking, returning approximately 1.00pm.

Cost – 

  • Private tour – $380
  • 2 – 4 people – $295 per person
  • 5 – 6 people – $250 per person

Availability – Tours are provided upon request, subject to availability. Available from mid-November through to April.

  • Riders must be under 120kg
  • All participants must be 16 years or over
  • Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult
  • Minimum group size 1pax, maximum group size 6 people

What to wear – 

  • Dress appropriately for the weather
  • All participants must wear enclosed and flat soled footwear
  • This is a high altitude tour, the wind can be cold so dress warm

What to bring – 

  • Phone / camera
  • Money for a coffee stop if you would like to
  • Bring a small day pack to carry snacks and other items

Experience a scenic mountain bike tour to visit remote areas within the Kosciuszko National Park. Along the ride you will visit 3 historical Huts to get a glimpse of how life can be lived in the mountains. A great day out with amazing sights history and a riding experience to remember.

TOUR DETAILS

Trail conditions – this tour is aimed at intermediate level trail riders. While this tour is ridden on fire trails, it involves some steep climbs and descents as well as the occasional river crossing. A great ride for those looking for a bit of adventure and to explore some more remote parts of Kosciuszko National Park.

Timings – tours must be booked a minimum 24hrs in advance. This is a full day tour and consists of about 5 hrs of saddle time. The tour generally departs from Activate at 8.30pm depending on the day of tour booking, returning approximately 4.00pm.

Cost – 

  • Private tour – $660
  • 2 – 4 people – $375 per person
  • 5 – 8 people – $300 per person

Availability – Tours are provided upon request subject to weather and availability. Available from mid-November through to April.
