Check-in time is 3pm. Checkout time is 10am. Late checkouts are subject to availability and may incur a fee.
The Resort does not currently offer WIFI. We apologise for any inconvenience. Both Telstra and Optus networks operate well within the area.

Unfortunately, guests cannot bring pets to the Resort. If you have any questions relating to assistance animals, please contact the Resort directly on (02) 6451 3000.
Yes. Visit our Reception for a variety of complimentary board games or to rent one of our many DVD’s.
Lake Crackenback is a man-made lake that is stocked twice a year with trout. You do need a fishing license.
At Crackers General Store, you can purchase firewood for $25.00 per 15kg bag; kindling is also available for $10.00 per 2kg bag which includes matches and firelighters. Subject to availability.
On rare occasions in winter, when it snows below the snowline you may require chains for your vehicle. Because the Resort lies outside the Kosciuszko National Park, it is not a legal requirement to carry chains to get to the Resort. If you are planning to travel within the National Park, you have to carry chains during the winter season.
Thredbo is a 20 minute drive from the Resort along the Alpine Way and 15 minutes to Perisher via the Skitube Alpine Railway (the Resort has a complimentary in-house shuttle operated by Harro’s Snowsports to the Skitube in winter that runs on a timetable. Note: there is no shuttle service to Thredbo).
The current fee to enter the park is $17.00 in summer for 24 hours or $29.00 in winter for 24 hours. You can purchase tickets from the National Park gate located 5 minutes from the Resort.
A daily service is not included to keep charges minimal. However, for a low fee we can organise a daily service and refresh for your room.

Yes, the indoor pool is heated to 28 degrees year round.
Yes, parking at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa is free of charge. Every property has 1 allocated car space.
At the Resort we provide linen and towels, washing and dishwashing liquid, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, saucepans, iron and ironing board, tea & coffee making facilities.
There is an abundance of wildlife that roams freely on the Resort property. Look out for kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, possums, emus, birds, deer, rabbits and ducks.
