Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa’s inaugural Autumn Food & Wine Festival will celebrate the seasonal local produce on offer in the High Country region of New South Wales.
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience and celebrate all things Autumn. The inaugural weekend will be filled with a series of food masterclasses and culinary demonstrations, exclusive chef dinners, farmer’s market aswell as entertainment during the weekend accompanied by a refreshing cider or crisp glass of wine.
If you have an interest in food, if its eating or cooking, the weekend will sure to delight. The Snowy Mountains is becoming well-known for rich, hearty ingredients such as beef, garlic, trout, truffles, apples and honey. Many of these ingredients will be incorporated over the weekend in the chef dinners and through market stall offerings.
Enjoy the festival atmosphere by the waters edge at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa listening to musicians, stroll through the market stalls offering tastings and local produce sales or enjoy coffee or lunch at the Alpine Larder.
Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa will be offering all-inclusive weekend packages along with individual event ticket options.
All-inclusive weekend packages including accommodation from $515 per person, excluding accommodation from $295 per person.

CHEF'S OF THE SNOWIES COCKTAIL EVENING
6.30pm - 9.30pm

Celebrate the opening of the weekend's festivities with a cocktail evening. Joining us will be a collection of the region's best chefs collaborating for one night only to showcase the region's finest produce.
Each chef will produce a collection of canapes style dishes for you to enjoy throughout the evening along with a selection of wines and beers to try.

The Farmer's Market Day will showcase many of the local operators of fine produce in the region. From honey, eggs, schnapps to chocolates, breads and vegetables.
MASTERCLASSES & DEMONSTRATIONS

Grab a seat and enjoy a series of chef masterclasses and demonstrations giving you tips and hints. These interactive masterclasses are not to be missed!

Join guest chef, Ben Willis in a 5 course dinner featuring local produce from the festival. Ben Willis owns and operated 2-hatted restaurant Aubergine in Canberra along with Temporada.
Ben has been part of our winter dinner series for many years and we are happy to welcome Ben back to the Resort for another year. The evening will sure to elight with matching wines supplied by Canberra wine maker, Nick Spencer of Nick Spencer Wines.
